But I'm A Good Christian

How many times have you heard, “They’re lucky I’m a good Christian” ? But how many people are actually good Christians as defined by the Bible? I would guess that maybe 95% of Christians are selective. I define selective Christianity as a Christian who judges other people and religions based on their actions and beliefs; when in fact, they are the ones who should look inside and see their own errors. Who’s to say that as a “good Christian,” you can overlook other values as if they do not exist.

There are so many clichés that we all make fun of, the promiscuous deacon of the church, club-goers on Saturday/church-goers on Sunday, and the woman getting married in white with her child participating in the wedding (the jig is up!). Many people are quick to judge others without focusing on their own faults. The percentage of self-proclaimed “good Christians” that lie, cheat, steal, and fornicate are let’s say, HIGH! There’s a little part in the bible I think called the Commandments that covers most of those topics if I’m not mistaken.

Passing judgment on other religions is also something that has always bothered me. No one knows beyond a doubt that their religion is right, so how does one have the right to criticize another? “But it was told unto him by God.” For all I know, that guy was stroking a monkey high on PCP while he was writing…My point is, following like sheep is no way to live. Live your life according to your own will without judging others. You might chase the most beautiful people away. Be responsible!
